One mile along Division Street and 11th Avenue South will be closed to cars and open to walkers, cyclists and families to enjoy. Businesses in this area will expand into the street featuring activities and specials.
Mayor Dean will host a ribbon-cutting celebration of the 11th Avenue Complete Street at 11 am. The ceremony will be followed by an Open Streets Parade for all event attendees. Plus, family-friendly booths and tents set up with games, live music and fun activities.
The Metro Transit Authority will offer free rides to and from the event from 10 am - 3 pm.

We will offer FREE B-cycle rides to event attendees. There will be two virtual stations set up at the northern and southern ends of the event footprint, plus the B-station located at 11th Avenue and Pine.
